Forum search should be fixed asap. I know you can do "site:www.eevblog.com/forum/ search term here" doesn't google also have advertising supported custom search? https://developers.google.com/custom-search/ also it pays some ad revenue? Maybe Dave will get the motivation to add that. The longer it is up more ad revenue it will generate.

Hackedgadgets has some kind of google search on their site. http://www.google.com/custom?domains=hackedgadgets.com&q=eevblog&sitesearch=hackedgadgets.com&sa=Search always hate it when I have to use it. Still better than search that doesn't function properly.
