(VERY DODGY). DRONE talk: lock up your drones at night
« on: December 18, 2024, 04:29:27 am »
With all the paranoids roaming our streets, it's easy, for them to speculate.   China being the threat, (let's assume that's empty speculation for now), and right now rumours fly.
Aside from world-wide paranoid tendencies I like to have some, err, fun, etch, or maybe just call it 'imagination decadence'.

So, the idea is, a mythical country, CHINA, that supposedly sells all crap products, but now they wish to 'plant' like, a billion secretly hostile DRINES, meant to wake up and attack.

What is a 'DRINE', you ask ?:
That's a specially (and secretly) built set of functions, like:
   1). Wake up
   2).  Kill owners
   3).  Sieze the house
   4). Contact home army (Chinese)

So, maybe don't sleep in same room as your stored drone,  err, drone.

People need to gossip for a few more days, so I figured to cash in on that hunger.

Thanks for reading.

No real and 'actual', official news, out of U.S. officials and spokespersons.
(So far, up to this evening).
The federal level officials have been issuing word salads, to explain (how they are still on top of the events, and monitoring going forward.
(These universe living people,  they are always 'going forward',  in TIME and Space.)

But I can't find anything really profound in the dialogs...EXCEPT that apparently it's been easy for analysts to decode.
Some words get used very specifically, and some words / terms used are vague.  A school kid could analyze that sort of 'slick talking' and be shaking their (young) heads, in amazement at the amateur LIES and misdirection coming from the official answering reporters questions.

That kind of on the spot LIE detection or cautions come up all the time, in families that have mischievous children.

'Did you knock over the Dog's bowl ?"  A parent might ask, and meanwhile the kid starts with the figiting and loosing eye contact.
Any parent knows this drill.

It's not even skilled, the way they LIE.
That makes the federal spokesperson's lies both infuriating, but also just DAMN BORING!

At any rate, I'm digressing from topic.
That is;  My own creation of juicy rumours to pass the time, until the REAL truth gets air.

Lock your drines up in a strong closet, before settling down, for the night's sleep.
(Maybe you can dream up some better Drine rumours, than my own, lame mongering.

Lol,  I'm going to Post a short video, as a completely BLANK 4:30 minutes duration, looking like the content got 'taken down'.
THAT (mischief) will result in, like, half of the viewers will 'know' that a vast conspiracy has deleted the video.....lol....

Let's see,...;  A 'planted' fake video, that looks suspiciously like a censored bit of drone info..
Faking out the fakers...(Fun but only briefly,...I'd rather be doing bench electronics.)

Short answer:  99.9% of the people in this country are completely oblivious to their surroundings and have no idea of how many objects there actually are in the sky; until some nut job posts some outrageous claim on tik Tok. Then they look up and suddenly see all of the objects that have been flying over their heads for years and then they panic.  Then they post, so more people panic, etc etc etc.

The government has NOT helped when they completely ignored the questions the first time that people asked and then started giving BS word salad answers that mean nothing.

      :palm:

      It's not April 1rst yet.

Nice doomsday plot but please explain exactly how a drone (or a drine?) is supposed to accomplish #2 and #3?  I'm pretty sure that the ATF (and several other agencies) would not allow the importation of any kind of armed drone. #3 what does a drone do with a house after it kills the owners? It can't open a door or a window and go anywhere else so it would trapped in the house.  And in #4 exactly what would it tell the Chinese army?  "Help!  I'm trapped in a house somewhere in America and I can't escape!"   :scared:

I do have a drone but it's packed away inside of it's original box so even if the Chinese Army could wake it up, it couldn't go anywhere or do anything and I don't think it would be a personal threat or somehow be able to take over the house.

GOD, I do hope that they ban Tik Tok soon!

   Thanks for responses.
I cannot, rationally, DEFEND much of my egregious imagination,  due to this being deliberate nonsense.  It's a kind of 'reflection' of what I've been observing.
So, haha,  I've accomplished the first purpose, which means that if you view this blog thread, then any silly impression here, will TRANSFER well, into a perception that the powers that be, today, are ALSO quite ridiculous...

If that makes any sense.  I as an individual can maybe be like that,  but does anybody really desire this, in the Leadership class, we've had to live with ?

As to the recent comment, about not caught up with current news,  that's a problem for myself as well,  having a hunger for good news outlets and decent media coverage.
That's a part of why I like using Google, in spite of my outrage at the misdismisinformation.  The word smithing thing can be fun, as well.

For #2, see any of the many recent videos from Ukraine :(

For #3, it depends on who you give the instruction to...

The Marines or Army will storm the place.
The Police will get a judge to issue a warrant.
The Navy will turn out the lights and lock the doors.
The Air Force will take out a 5 year lease with an option to buy.

There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.
Glider pilot's aphorism: "there is no substitute for span". Retort: "There is a substitute: skill+imagination. But you can buy span".

What is the logic in the "lock up your drones at night" ? Is it that during the day they give good milk but the moonlight makes them possessed wherewolfs ?

There is an old saying: some people are "searching [for how to get into trouble] with a candle in the middle of the day".

tggzzz;  Thanks, but I didn't get it.  But, THAT made me laugh,  at myself, reading a post that I don't follow (what's funny).   That's feeding me, with my own medicine !  Lol.

I can take that, as I'm soo starved for attention(needing female companionship).
Plus, I'm actually one of those 'Self-Improvement' freaks.  So, I do appreciate the joking, (where you said about the Navy wanting to lease / buy ?).
Lol, you've forced me to ask, please, what did that mean ?

And,  that next post, using the phrase;  "What is your LOGIC...?".
LOGIC ? !  In this thread ?  From this OP ?
(Didn't that person read the warning in the title ?)

Turnaround is fair play, and I welcome this criticism...harmless words, but I do value your lint made.
ZZZZZZZZING !

This is the time of year when the Leonid meteor shower is readily visible. At least one of the popular "drone" photos looks a lot like a meteor.
In earlier days, it would have been UFOs, before that "Airships", or even earlier, "Angels"----today, of course, "drones" are "flavour of the month"!
