Frequently Asked Questions

Can I just unplug it while the laptop is on without causing any damage, or do I need to shut it down first?

As the key contains files for education, it is indeed recommended to shut it down first.

The purple light stays on for a while then goes off and then comes back on after some time when plugged into a computer – is this normal?

It  is normal that the light on USB goes off when the computer goes to sleep...We can suggest that you  plug it into a normal USB wall charger instead. It can also depend on the strength of your laptop or computer .

I found some more:

Similar USB plug casing but USB3 and I see from Faq's that they only sell USB2 at the moment claiming USB3 to be expensive.

Crystal USB Flash Drive

Starting at $19 and lots of options, colour and has a customize form:

Edit:

Last year they use to sell these:

https://web.archive.org/web/20191109221924/https://5gbioshield.com/

Now I see a another website is selling them:

https://5grezotoneshield.com/

the domain was created on 2019-09-23 which is a couple of months newer.

Their page has been archived since February this year:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://5grezotoneshield.com/

Instead of the lion they use a white wolf like creature.

I think there maybe more to this to look into.

The reviews are also pretty entertaining. Behold a story to hold you spellbound, by a certain Caroline:

Hello, I ordered that first model of the key and it’s working very well. We did mesure of our vibration with pendulum and it’s really so high that you can’t even not mesure your vibration and the pendulum turn to infinit. Even when we leave the home our energy, vibration stay high. Thank you to your team! I have many friend who are waiting to buy one.

With a pendulum  :-DD Most people measure field strengths using an antenna and spectrum analyzer/EMI reciever - I guess the pendulum was more expensive though...

I got to give it to these scammers: they know their audience  :)

They know their audience so well they can read their minds and speak for them.

Makes me wonder if this scam is run by the same people.

Looks in date order with the the one in the thread being the first but that one is hosted on Google? and the name registered to Godaddy.

I noticed the quotes on Google only show for 5gbioshield.com whereas on DuckDuckGo it shows the newer sites.

As the key contains files for education, it is indeed recommended to shut it down first.

The only "Education" would be the contents of your computer, for their education.

BBC news today

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-52810220

I like it when the article says

Quote
Each of these USB keys costs £339.60 including VAT, though there is a special offer of three for £958.80.

But, at first sight, it seems to be just that - a USB key, with just 128MB of storage.

"So what's different between it and a virtually identical 'crystal' USB key available from various suppliers in Shenzhen, China, for around £5 per key?" asks Ken Munro, whose company, Pen Test Partners, specialises in taking apart consumer electronic products to spot security vulnerabilities.

And the answer appears to be a circular sticker.

"Now, we're not 5G quantum experts but said sticker looks remarkably like one available in sheets from stationery suppliers for less than a penny each
,"

At least trading standards are now looking into the 5G Bio Shield and it will be interesting to read their findings. I think they will say something along the lines of false advertizing and doesn't do what is claimed etc. However, the device itself is totally benign and harmless, it won't kill you unless maybe you swallow it, so I don't really see that they can do very much. People believe what they want to believe and that is human nature it isn't going to change, ever.

A $350 “anti-5G” device is just a 128MB USB stick, teardown finds
5GBioShield uses "quantum nano-layer technology" to restructure reality itself.

Now *that* sounds like a nice movie theme :)
