I'm horrified with how they attached the terminals in this thing. Wow that is bad.
I can't comprehend why someone thought that was an acceptable attachment method for high current terminal bolts.

Understandably Will Prowse cannot speak too much about the law suit, but there is a thread on DIY Solar Forum which has the law suit attached.  It seems that you need to be logged in to download attachment though.

There is also a separate class action case by customers of Dragonfly/BattleBorn.  These will be interesting cases to follow, and are likely going to be quite different to the DCS case.  As BattleBorn batteries has been a topic in Will's videos for months now, I am sure he already has legal advice on this and likely prepared to defend his reviews & comments.

That topic is a few months old and doesn't mention the law suit.  This is another level of dodgy-ness which I think validates this new topic under this section.

Maybe post a link in that topic to this one mentioning the law suit.

Mr Rossmann will have started the ball on what is richly deserved. But maybe a professional EEV blogger can do a forensic job on what limits are programmed into the BMS using a dummy load, A picture of the module. Commercial design is complicated, as is integration testing.
