Sounds a lot like... you know, that other thing.

Disappointed in Tom's Hardware, though.

Meanwhile, Ossia expects devices based on the 2.4 GHz tech to hit the market in 2020 via commercial partners. It pointed to 5G and IoT-related use cases. Note that you can charge up to 1,000 devices at a time with one transmitter.

Like the other, Wattup they also get their images from somewhere and stick their "wireless power" symbol things on it.

Breezn Visitor management software portal dashboard:
As least they had something real to show in it.

Cota:
They used a cad picture of a mouse and stick their thing on it and that's it.
Cad mouse prop,  wireless power...

Very confidence inspiring trying to show me fake things.

A 1,000 devices?
That claims sounds as phoney as what's in that picture.

Don't suppose they have a case to fit the mouse or a receiver in the shape of a round cell to fit the battery compartment.

Edit:
I just just sent them a message see picture.

They've been winning awards for their Forever a Mock-Up Sleeve for years.

I think they call them Forever Sleeves and Forever Batteries because that's how long people have been waiting.
They think they can beam Watts of 2.4GHz at phones in your pocket, what could possibly go wrong. :horse:

Apr. 05, 2019 Ossia’s Cota Wireless Power System Wins Edison Gold
For the global competition, Ossia’s flagship wireless power technology, Cota, which is power delivered over, at a distance, without cables, charging pads, or line of sight, was reviewed by an independent judging panel of 3,000 top senior business executives, academics, and innovation professionals from diverse industries and disciplines. Lol.

Also: I more or less get why a panel of bussiness folk think this is awesome and give a price. I don't get how a site like TW goes along with it.

The sooner uBeam goes bust the sooner we can buy their IP and sue everyone that tries this again... Yes, I talk about becoming a patent troll.
