EMF Shield $1000 Copper (maybe) tube that will save your life...
« on: December 07, 2024, 08:34:54 pm »
Here's another dodgy FB Ad's product.  It's a EMF shield that protect you from EMF but won't block your cell phone or Wi-Fi (or anything else for that matter)

https://ultraluxhealth.com/product/qi-shield/?attribute_condition=Copper

They even have a video where the presenter doesn't even know how "qi" is pronounced:

Joke: I'd imagine it'd include free AI to help preauthorize your claim.

I remember Argus did something similar before when some content would load instantly and then this animated "preloading" element would appear and cover up the contents after they had loaded.

The "disclaimer" at the end is mandated by US law for advertising any health-sounding product that is not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The required wording is in the statute, along with a requirement on character height.

"The FDA approval of a medical product (e.g., drug, device or biologic) means the product’s safety and effectiveness have been reviewed by the FDA and the
product’s known and potential benefits outweigh the known and potential risks."  (FDA website)

It would be a Good Thing©® for those who need it, meaning those whose hyperbaric therapy is prescribed by a qualified doctor. Otherwise it's just another snake-oil offering.

Re: $1359 UltraLux Air Sentry 1000 Air purifier sold on Amazon for $289

Air Sentry 1000

$1,395.00

Short Description
With the UltraLux Air Sentry 1000, you can get the best, cleanest air delivered to your living spaces! Covering an area of approximately 1000 square feet, this device features powerful filtration technology and delivers fresh air fast. The Air Sentry 1000 protects against:

Allergens such as dust and pet dander
Bacteria and viruses
VOCs and PM2.5 particles
Foul odors
Toxic chemical fumes

Low EMF
Many other air purifiers include features that are meant to be helpful, but actually contribute to high EMF output, hurting your health. At UltraLux Health, we want you to enjoy the fresh benefits of purified air without feeling the negative effects of EMFs. That’s why we intentionally created the Air Sentry line without EMF-producing features. The Air Sentry 1000 has an ultra-low EMF rating of 0.2 Milligauss at 6 inches on the highest fan speed. The Air Sentry 1000 is low in EMFs so you can breathe clean air without the headache!

Triple Filtration *Technology*  :bullshit:
The Air Quality that comes from UltraLux Air Purifiers is what sets the Air Sentry 1000 apart. Some air purifiers rely solely on HEPA filters to clean air. The Air Sentry 1000 goes beyond, combining an odor-removing carbon filter, a general-use True HEPA 13 filter and a sterilizing UV-C filter. We’ve also included a free True HEPA 14 filter that can be alternated to provide added protection against bacteria and viruses. This unique triple filtration process is the secret to having the cleanest indoor air. When you use the Air Sentry 1000, you can remove hazardous substances from your living area, such as:
Toxic VOCs, PM 2.5 particles. Viruses. Mold spores, Dust, Odors, Pet dander, Smoke, Bacteria

The FDA recommends at least using a HEPA filter to protect against polluted air. The Air Sentry 500 features a true HEPA 13 filter with a 99.97% filtration of particles 0.3 microns or larger. Plus, it includes an alternate True HEPA 14 filter with a 99.997% filtration percentage of particle 0.1 microns or bigger. The HEPA 14 filter is perfect for viral protection during flu season or when sicknesses are going around. Additionally, the carbon filter fights off foul odors and the UV- sanitization technology keeps your space free from health risk particles.

Can you trust them whether that is indeed going to be a a True Genuine HEPA filter?

Not that you're wrong, but my observation was more about how "soft plastic chamber" and "pressures that medically beneficial hyperbaric chambers operate at" don't seem to be compatible.

I wouldn't know, my observation is their disclaimer on everything "Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or *prevent any disease."

And yet they display a product:

that prevents or eliminates: ... * toxic fumes, mold spores, bacteria, some viruses.

So this thing is marketed as but not intended to "prevent" the above.

Get use to it? Nothing to get use to but I find it nice to bring it to light.

I research everything I buy.after being I being fobbed off many many times before even what may seem under a different world then 2 decades ago.
In fact something what still remains that the FDA is trying to ban is that useless placebo cough medicines with that nazal spray thing they put in it, phenylephrine.

Ineffective cough syrup ingredient should be axed officially, FDA says
Reuters 1 month ago.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has proposed removing oral phenylephrine, widely used in cold and cough syrups, as an active ingredient in over-the-counter drugs for nasal congestion, stating it is not effective, the health regulator said Thursday. Phenylephrine is widely used in a variety of over-the-counter flu and cold medicines, including popular products such as Benadryl, Advil, and Tylenol.

It is also an ingredient in nasal sprays to treat congestion. However, the FDA's action is only related to orally administered phenylephrine and not the nasal spray form. Last year, an outside panel of experts made headlines when they unanimously voted against the effectiveness of orally-administered phenylephrine as a nasal decongestant, adding that no more trials were required to prove otherwise.

Companies such as Procter & Gamble and GSK were among several accused in lawsuits of deceiving consumers about cold medicines containing the ingredient. For now, companies may continue to market drug products containing oral phenylephrine as a nasal decongestant. The FDA will also start seeking public comments on its proposal to axe the ingredient. However, the FDA said it would provide manufacturers with appropriate time to either reformulate drugs containing oral phenylephrine or remove such drugs from the market.

During the first lockdown I had a chest infection and I was fobbed off by this nurse on the phone not wanting to book me an appointment to see a GP or help prescribe Galpseud Plus, a cough medicine mixture of chlorphenamine and pseudrephrine that I ran out of. She told me it was now banned on the NHS (not all true a specialist can still apparently order it as one did a year later) and she went on about lot of choices over the counter... like Lemsip I said "You GOT to be joking... They are bloady useless, not even real lemon in there and the reason I stopped taking those and many others as they did nothing but caused me stuffier throat, dehydration and shorter breath until I stopped taking them. They have this useless ingredient in them called phenylephrine and many others that I think give cough medicines a bad name. That Galpseud Plus mixture of chlorphenamine and pseudrephrine seems to actually work well for me out of the many I have taken over the decades. At first I didn't believe my GP who prescribed it to me many years ago in 2017 with some antibiotics for a bad chest infection, thinking they were all the same and reluctant to take it but after 4 seconds of the first spoonful it soothed all my throat and felt my ears pop. Then I compare them by ingredients and find out as to why something that is so good and effective that actually works seems so unheard of to me, out of reach and hard to get.

Then I found the reason was that drug dealers were using cough medicines with pseudrephrine and chlorphenamine mixtures to help create their drugs which is why it was made it prescription only which forced drug makers to find alternatives one of them being that phenylephrine.

Phenylephrine was supposed to substitute for pseudoephedrine (here spelled correctly) to avoid meth labs using the latter for feedstock.
However, phenylephrine has been found to be useless, and the FDA has banned it from OTC drugs.
In Illinois, to obtain pseudoephedrine (as in SudafedTM), I have to get it from the pharmacist who registers my purchase to make sure I'm not fronting for a meth lab, but it does not require a prescription.

Maybe they're scared that if they do specify a list the authorities will go after them and prosecute fine them like what happened to this chef from Australia during the lockdown:

Coronavirus: Pete Evans fined $25,000 over BioCharger device claims
Brooke Rolfe·News Reporter
Updated 24 April 2020·2-min read

Celebrity chef Pete Evans has been slapped with a $25,000 fine for claiming a device he was selling for $15,000 could be used in the treatment of COVID-19.

Evans allegedly spruiked the “BioCharger” product in a live video to his Facebook page, which has a following of about 1.4 million people, on April 9, according to the Therapeutic Goods Administration. In a statement issued on Friday, the TGA alleges Evans claimed “the device could be used in relation to ‘Wuhan Coronavirus’”. “A claim which has no apparent foundation,” the TGA continued.

“Any claim that references COVID-19 is a restricted representation under therapeutic goods legislation, and is of significant concern to the TGA given the heightened public concern about the pandemic.

“The TGA recently published a warning to advertisers and consumers about illegal advertising relating to COVID-19.” The regulatory body said it took these kinds of statements “extremely seriously” and it had issued Evans with a total fine of $25,200 for two separate infringements. The second was for alleged advertising breaches on Evans’ website, which included claims the BioCharger was “proven to restore strength, stamina, co-ordination and mental clarity”.

The site also allegedly claimed the device would help with “sharpening your mental clarity, recovery... from an injury or stress, accelerating muscle recovery and reducing stiffness in joints”. The device fell into the category of a therapeutic good within the meaning of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, and is subject to the regulatory framework established under the Act and administered by the TGA. Therapeutic goods must be entered in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) before they can be legally supplied or advertised in Australia.

The TGA said it was monitoring non-compliance in Australia and was paying particular attention to the advertising of products that claim to prevent or cure COVID-19. It said it would continue to take action in relation to any advertisements that do not meet the requirements, including those that seek to mislead consumers.

In a statement provided to Yahoo News Australia, Evans said he planned to "strongly" defend the TGA's allegations. “The claims made by the TGA are totally unfounded and we will be strongly defending these claims. It is now in the hands of my lawyers,” he said.

My guess is this thing is nothing but a coil of copper wire on a wooden spool. If you had some woodworking tools you could build one for $50.

He claims there is some sort of energy thingy inside but never shows it.
