Don't always believe the brand name on the side of a capacitor.

IME purchasing anything on ali is 50/50% chance of a bargain, or fake/poor quality items.
Even when using sellers that I've used before!

I'm reminded of a listing I saw selling 18650 sleeves, marked exactly like a high spec Samsung cell...

The Chinese have a love for gold color. Anything with gold color is an automatic suspect. Not sure if they realize that.

I would not have much expectations about getting genuine parts from aliexpress but your post does not explain anything or show any proof. FWIW price is about the same as from Mouser link. So on the face value of this listing parts likely are genuine.

Real Nichicon gold caps say "Fine Gold", and they got the fonts wrong. And the Farad rating is below the negative band not above it, and the temperature rating is below the Farads. The fake ones don't even tell you the temp rating.

These are FW series, not FG. If you see "Fine gold" on these, they're fake.

The replacement series "UFW" and "UFG" are in the Mouser catalog.
It looks like Nichicon are now pushing the "UKW" series for audio applications.

They are not replacement series. All Nichicon series now start from "U" but it's not printed on actual capacitors.

Clarification:  I meant the series that replaced the "FW" and "FG" series when you look them up in Mouser, etc.
(Reply to Bud, who couldn't find "FW" and "FG" on DigiKey.)
Nichicon used to list them as "FW" and "FG" in their literature.
Now, they list them as UFW and UFG, and Mouser no longer lists FW and FG.

Here is a photo of digikey (bottom) to ali (top):

As wraper says, visually they look identical, that alone is not enough to call fake. We'd need some measurement data.

I hear that one their favourite words is lucky.

So you'd be lucky to get an authentic one from China.

A perfect Chinese electrolytic cap wouldn't be just golden, it would have also 888µF. ;D

Not just China. LG is an abreviation of Lucky Goldstar.
