Got a few UVA (315-400nm) LEDs specified at 360nm for about half the price when compared to other mainstream sources. I was happy to see the seller was indeed accurate.
Here is my setup to measure them. Once you get to UVB (280-315nm) and for UVC (100-200nm) in particular, the quartz or sapphire windows as mentioned in the videos.

True UVC LEDs are pretty low power so you would need severals. Considering the price the real alternative is still a gas discharge tube for bang to the buck ratio.

Old news. If you see any LED disinfection lamps on ebay or Amazon they will be fake. At the moment, UVC LEDs are too expensive an inefficient to compete with mercury lamps, in most applications.

There will be some legitimate ones, and then this comment on the video:

They just don't seem to get it... When they need blacklight effects, they use UV-C tubes, but when it comes to sterilization they use blacklight effects?

I very much doubt it given the price of real UVC LEDs. Even if there are some genuine ones, I wouldn't bother because they will have a pitiful power output and efficiency, compared to a mercury lamp of a similar price/power rating. Perhaps in 10 years time there will be UVC LEDs cheap and efficient enough to compete with mercury lamps in most applications, but for now they're an immature technology with a few niche applications

Yes, I've seen that one before and I did think it was odd because even before this pandemic, UVC tubes were generally more expensive than UVA ones. I suppose it might have been a lack of understanding or someone having a surplus of UVC tubes they were desperate to sell at whatever cost.
