The (wearable) device fits comfortably around the cow's head
Well this is a relief, i was thinking they would stick that methane neutralizing device in the poor creature's backside. Which is arguably the best location from efficiency perspective  ::)

Actually no, they've got it right. The methane comes out of the front end. It's the normal slightly noxious, but low environmental impact gasses that come out of the rear!

Well it's good it is admitted that CGI was used in one article but on the website not impressed.

Now I wonder how the cow would feel wearing that thing all day?

Obviously they may not care.

I do have a medical condition where I can register to be exempt if I wanted to but for my own sake I wear a mask if it is busy and people are just coughing/sneezing all over the place, walking into my like I am ghost where they are on their phones whilst pushing the trolley and not paying attention to where they are going.

I am fortunate that I don't have to go into town centers or busy places and during the lockdown.

By "they" I meant the above startup, not the cows. I realize my reply may have been ambiguous.

It's just yet another startup jumping on the climate shit bandwagon. But when you see this, you can't help but wonder how twisted our world is becoming. Is this the world we want to live in?

Here's an unhelpful pie chart, since it appears to not be adjusted to a per-tonne of meat produced, and just an absolute figure:

Source: https://businesswales.gov.wales/farmingconnect/news-and-events/technical-articles/part-1-greenhouse-gas-emissions-environmental-impacts-poultry-industry

There are other projects to reduce cattle emissions, including genetically manipulating both cattle and fodder, and also the cattle gut biome.

Cutting down on food waste might be a good first step, in the developed world.
