Dodgy or not dodgy?
ataradov:
Looks dodgy as hell. Their whole site reads as it was generated by Markov chain. A lot of meaningless blabber, but nothing is concrete.
"At Nanom we focus on innovations that push the boundaries of what is possible while making sure the solution is sustainable." Says it all.

There really isn't much information to work with. The blog articles are also totally meaningless, with some showing just some random, out-of-context pictures of arduinos. My guess, the page was just created by the design agency and they haven't yet gotten around to fill in some real content.

Yep. Well, that looks like a typical fresh startup web page. But Nanom was previously Greenvolt. Dates back to early 2019, got first round of funding in mid-2019 as far as I can tell.

They managed to get EU funding too. If anything, that's often a good indication of how dodgy a startup is, especially if it deals with "green" projects.
And... "We are the Climate Impact Startup of Iceland 2020 as the Nordic Startup Awards."
If anyone finds any patent or scientific paper dealing with what they do, please share.
Got the info through some IEEE article: https://jobs.ieee.org/jobs/content/How-to-Prevent-Batteries-From-Exploding-Nanoparti-2021-04-19
I'd put the dodginess cursor at 90% at this point. Of course, if anyone from Nanom reads this thread and wants to correct this prejudice with more info and clear facts, please do not hesitate!
daqq:
Maybe they've engraved the useful content onto a nanoparticle and lost it?
