I hope this type of post is OK in this forum. Here's SciManDan debunking the man who claims to have debunked Einstein. It's worth it for the face palm memes alone. Oh and the cold fusion claim. Oh and the general "wtf??" reaction this will cause. Enjoy if you haven't already!

I've actually been watching a lot of Fermilab stuff lately. Dr. Don Lincoln has a great series on physics related topics.

Like one of the most recent ones is about how people use the wrong equations for certain situations. Like how E=MC^2 doesn't apply to photons because they're massless particles.

Hmm, well, yes, but...

It would be more accurate to say "there is an upper limit to the possible mass of photons beyond which there would be observable effects" (1.07×10−27 eV/c2 is I believe the current measured maximum possible mass).

It's somewhat counter intuitive for electrons photons to have no mass at all, given that they do have measurable momentum...

As measurement precision improves, that upper limit will get lower and lower, but it's not impossible that we will at some point discover that they do indeed have some mass, however small.

What? I guess you meant photon.
