Was that after he told you there is no Santa Claus?
What?? What do you mean, there's no Santa Claus??
I've seen Santa Claus.... or was that Santa Clara?
[/quote]Is that his wife?

Nah, if you've ever seen a Hollywood action movie, you know that all the bad guys are usually blonde and have a refined British or Germanic sounding accent so I can quite believe it.

Holy Crap; I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.  Then I looked at the pricing and couldn't believe what they are asking for this voodoo.
I wonder how they can stop laughing long enough to even make this fancy website.  Do you suppose they have a shrine to PT Barnum in their offices.
The only thing missing is the internet link and smart phone app; but they probably don't believe in that sort of rubbish because:

It's just a damn pressure reducer pipe. The copper might disinfect a little bit...until it corrodes like all copper pipe will from dirty water.

That's not how a vortex aerator works at all, there's not even an air input! :palm:

And F***! Those have been voodoo-ized too! :scared:

http://bioponica.net/water-vortex-aeration/

There's no damn magic people! They just mix air and water for fish or plants! What's so magic about plain old OXYGEN?! :-DD :palm:

Imo they are clearly targeting the anti vaxxer type morons - I have an aunty who'd love this crap, she even wears a necklace "to protect her from wifi" and grounds her exercise gear to release negative energy! :palm:

Thankfully her sons are both smart lads who got themselves vaccinated, much to their mothers horror!  :-DD

To be fair, if you put me on exercise equipment I release a lot of negative energy, well, copious quantities of short, sharp Anglo-Saxon words...
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

Wrap her necklace around your phone or tablet and then show her that the wifi still gets through.  >:D

Wise move.  People's belief in that sort of "product" very often does not allow for debunking.

Indeed, ppl who exclusively rely on faith, dont care about little details like evidence and cant be reasoned with.

You will find a lot of snake oil where I live.
The shops sell it.
The streets are flowing with the stuff.
It is highly spoken of.
They are also taken in tablet form.

Oh that's special: "Since the basic idea is that an otherwise normal electrolytic capacitor can be brought into a state whereby it converts ZPE into usable electric power, our first step would be to study this effect in detail. I will discuss this in another post later."

So basically the crazies have latched on to dielectric absorption now as well  :palm: ... have they worked out you still have to put the energy in there first and it doesn't just magically appear out of thin air?

Oh no because that's the conspiracy!

i registered just so that i could share this here.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/niccharger/nic-charger-the-first-truly-and-totally-wireless-c/description

i dont remember how i found out about this, but its obviously fake. however i dont have the knowledge yet to do the calculations as to WHY its fake.
after watching plenty of the EEVBlog videos debunking obvious crap, and Thunderfoot's videos too, i do have the knowledge to say that this thing is bupkis.

the fact that the devices start "charging" but use a dodgy animated charging screen that no device ive ever seen actually has. the only clip that shows a real charging indication, has a guy's finger holding up the charging coil, very possibly hiding a cable/wire.

a few quotes from their page:

*under a big "How It Works" banner
"The NIC system consists of two parts, the NIC charging cube which is connected to a power outlet and the NIC charging pad which can be permanently connected to your portable device."
obviously not actually saying HOW it works.

"NIC Charger is part of NIC Enterprise Ltd, Founder in 2016 by a group of 3 electrical and electronic engineers."
something tells me this is bullcrap too

"Proven Technology

Nikola Tesla created the first wireless energy transmission in the 1900s. It is now available for most of your portable devices."

and there's a reason we dont use this.

there is one comment from a sensible person, who thankfully made a pledge just to post their contradiction to their product.
unfortunately, since they cancelled the pledge (which is totally fair IMO) kickstarted hides their comment, making it
FAR less visible.

just thought id share this here, in the hopes that someone can bust this turd for the world to see

Thanks for posting that. That is utter trash indeed.

Numbers for you assuming I haven't futzed the calculation (I am using windows calculator so this is likely):

0. Assume 100% efficiency at all transducers and conversions and adherence to physics.
1. Transmitting antenna has a no gain (it's omnidirectional clearly)
2. The receiving antenna is a generous .0025 square meters in size and I assuming it is poorly projected onto a 3d plane here to be lazy.
3. The receiving power required is 5W (5V 1A) for charging which is stupidly not generous.
4. Receiving end you would need a power density of 2kw/square meter.
5. 5m away from the source, that translates to a power of 628KW.

I don't see anyone catching fire during charging there and that wire is a bit thin for a 628KW feed.

But they started their video with "Have you ever wished...." and even mentioned Tesla further down, so it MUST be genuine!!
