That was in the PAST. A previous job, apparently.

I get it, but still don't know the association between Sercel and Cadsoft. Unless they use Cadsoft to design their PCB's, but i don't think so.
Let's see if Dave jumps in and tell us the story.
Thank you!

It seems to be out of date information. Because if you click on it (the link as part of it), you get an Error 404 - page does not exist.

Evidence it is apparently wildly out of date:
http://alternatezone.com/electronics/pcbdesign.htm.

There was no association between Sercel & Cadsoft. Sercel have always used Altium, as have all the associated companies I worked for (GEC-Marconi, Thomson Marconi Sonar, & Thales)
I do not recall how my name ended up on that list.

Maybe they saw my PCB design tutorial back in the day and asked me if they could link to it, and the result is that entry.
Everyone was asking to link to my tutorial back in the day.

That's one of the main options that I thought.

Because the CADsoft/Eagle forum (Actually Element14), seems to go on about it.

Even though "old" a still valuable resource! (Dave's tutorial, not the cadsoft broken link page!).

Though nothing mentions EAGLE, so anyone looking for a "tutorial" won't find one there, still a ton of useful info, so perhaps someone (OP?) should contact Cadsoft and tell them to update their link?

On a google search, i noticed that Dave is Training Partner of eagle cadsoft.  8)
when A is a friend of yours and he got a material that you want to link/use, you'll put in your web "A is my friend... link[A's material]". but that way is unprofessional if you are corporation, you must put something sound like a good professional relationship, that is where "Business Partner" or "Training Partner" comes from. right? just imagine if you put "A is an ehhole... link[A's material]". surely A will find a way to nail that link down and a good relationship will turn into sour. i believe while the web is on air like that, Cadsoft still claims that dave is their "Training Partner" without dave knowing it, or regardless of what relationship Dave think to them. that is not a paid by hire position. once a company used my name as an employee while i'm on the far side with another company, its not much of an offense since they paid some small amount to my account. cadsoft and dave are symbion to each other, imho.
