EagleCAD v7.1 crashes on Windows10
(1/1)
DiTBho:
I have a professional license, it worked very well on laptop with Windows XP, I have recently updated to Windows 10 and now when I try to move an object on the PCB-editor the program crashes without any reason.
Anyone has experimented this issue?
I have a lite license for EagleCAD v7.5. No problem with Windows 10.
A colleague has a professional license for EagleCAD v6.6. No problem with Windows 10.
I don't really know :-//
Karel:
Always use the latest patch version for a major version.
In your case that's:
http://web.cadsoft.de/ftp/eagle/program/7.7/eagle-win64-7.7.0.exe
Try again and see if it fixes the problem.
DiTBho:
The 7.7.0.exe perfectly works, but it doesn't accept the license, it says it's "lite version" instead of "professional".

That's weird. The license is valid for all 7.x.x versions. You'll have to contact the supportdesk.
Try re-installing the license as per the instructions you received together with your license key.
