Help generate Gerbers
« on: July 29, 2020, 05:43:21 am »
I need to make a PCB from an open hardware project but do not have a way to produce the Gerbers from the published Eagle project files. Can someone help with this (project archive attached). Also would be helpful if you can convert the binary BRD and SCH to XML format. Thanks!

I can't convert it to XML (ver 7+ for me) and re-distribute it because that would be a license violation. Besides you never know what embedded stuff is in the finished file that could give me away to the >:D . The gerbers were already in your original zip file but, in a format that several gerber viewers could not read, at least all of them. JLCPCB will make the board directly from the gerber folder without any interaction or intervention necessary on your part. Just zip the gerber folder up and send it off. Here is your file:

And here's what the gerbers look like in a viewer:
Voltage does not flow, nor does voltage go.

No problem there Bud. Or is is Mack, do you even have those north of New York City?

*I forgot to do a DRC check.
Everything is good with the PCB. No errors.

Many a film in the ancient <1970 past would call someone for example "What's go'in on there Mack", or "Look Bud I ain't got all day" the second name used most often was Bud.
All the vernacular of NYC and surrounding areas. That's awl.
