Using Premier Farnell's Eagle Packages
(1/1)
T4P:
I wanted to use some of TI's parts and downloaded the CAD from Premier Farnell but have no idea how to use them 'scripts'
Have anyone of you guys got a workaround? I'm clueless on this

There's a readme file in each download that should explain it, but basically you just stick the .scr file somewhere and then run it using the File -> Script option in the library editor (create a fresh library if you like to keep them all together).
A note of caution: check the thus-created library objects against the part datasheets before relying on them for a board layout. I discovered the hard way that at least one of their downloads had two pins swapped; luckily it just resulted in weird behaviour during testing and could be bodged around without a new board, but I was unamused. Would have been considerably more unamused had it blown something up!
