[ORCAD] Unrouted Nets in status bar?
« on: September 01, 2021, 02:46:12 pm »
I just noticed that the DRC in ORCAD doesn't include unrouted nets. You need to go to Check>Design Status on the menu bar. Is there a way to get this metric to appear on the status bar on the bottom of the editor like the "stoplight" DRC icon?

I don't think so but I don't really see the usefulness of that. If you click on the square before the 'unrouted connections' item in the DRC window, you get a list with clickable coordinates of the connections that are still open. This way you can travel to any unrouted segments quickly; no need to scan the entire board for unrouted nets manually.

There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

I've addded 'design status' as a button on my tool bar. Saves a click.
