31 mils thick PCB
« on: October 12, 2015, 08:44:23 pm »
Hi,
Where do you get small qties of small (1sq in) fr-4 31 mils (0.8mm) thick PCB made?
I've been getting pricing from different places and the prices are between 3 to 20 times the price of getting small 62.5 mils PCB made.
Is dirtyPCBs any good?
Thanks

seed studio is good for it, just try and balance out how much copper you have on each side, If you have a solid ground plane on one side and scarce traces on the other they tend to warp a little

Seeed studio. The cheapest one I can find that accepts USD payment.

I looked at a lot of places, but I didn't take notes  |O , I think Seeed charged a lot for shipping. I'll check again, plus remember: the pieces of paper we use in Canada are worthless these days, which is why I'm shopping around a lot!

DirtyPCBs is pretty good.  No frills service.

Here's an update I got from OSH Park:

"We're hoping to offer a 0.031" thickness some time in the next few months, since we get a fair amount of requests, but that's probably not until early next year."
