Adding Through-hole Pads in FreePCB
« on: June 08, 2014, 03:28:39 pm »
Hi folks,

I decided to take a circuit I've built a number of times on perf board and give it a proper board to sit in. It's my first time using PCB designing software, and I'm using FreePCB. Unfortunately I first downloaded ExpressPCB (and then realised that it only outputs the file type for their own board printing company), but in ExpressPCB placing a pad is really simple - and something I need to do as I have through-hole cable connections on the board. I can't for the life of me find a way to do it in FreePCB, the closest I could find was a Test Point and there were only about 2 options that looked like they could work at all. Could someone please steer me in the right direction, I'm guessing that I've missed something blatantly simple  :palm:
