Altium -Copy schematic symbol but reset the designator

Hi,

Is there a way to configure Altium to reset the schematic designator to "?" when you copy a symbol that has been anotated? :-//

You can do that manually.
Then any more that are copied from that retain the ?

Goto: DXP -> Preferences -> Schematic -> Graphical Editing
Under Options you should find a check box named "Reset Parts Designators On Paste"
Should normally be checked by default.
