converting old .PCB file
« on: April 21, 2021, 11:37:06 pm »
hi folks, i come seeking help. i've got a PCB design here (released freely) that was made in 1998 with Protel for DOS. i am struggling to get it converted to modern Gerber files so i can have some boards made for myself. i've played around with Protel SE 99 but i can't get the drills exported properly. AGH!! can anyone help?  :palm:

file attached.

It imports but the hole sizes are zero. with some time, could be manually fixed since most look to be the same size. I set them to .05 inch so they could export.
attached is the drill file you requested. this should import into your tool and you can fix them.

The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance - it is the illusion of knowledge.
