I am always quite amazed how skewed priorities are with certain EDA PCB programs.
Today I bumped into a video who basically really summarizes the problem with auto-routing and why a lot of professionals don't really use it, except for some specific case.
I personally also ONLY found it SOMETIMES useful when having to route a very complicated BGA part or similar.
Even than I only use the auto-router when I haven't been able to come up with a satisfying solution, and just let the auto-router do its thing overnight to see if it came with something I overlooked. Which is actually a pretty rare case to be very honest.
For general PCB design tips and advice I highly recommend following Robert Feranec's channel btw.
A lot of useful and interesting stuff! Especially about HF PCB tracing and such.
