looking for OrCAD tips and tricks and other ressources
« on: November 19, 2017, 09:23:39 pm »
Hi,

I'm looking for OrCAD Capture and PCB Designer ressources.
I had already a look on yt and tried some google searches. There is a cadence support forum, some application notes for download and all such stuff.  :-+

But ... is there a place for OrCAD enthusiasts? A blog or wiki with "daily tips" or something like this? Someone who demonstrates the use of the command line window or SKILL scripting?

Thank you!
Cheers
hammy

Hoarder of 8-bit Commodore relics and 1960s Tektronix 500-series stuff. Unconventional interior decorator.

My license purchase came with access to introductory e-learning courses for Capture (schematic editor) and PCB Editor. These courses (along with some YT videos from distributors) are VERY useful and got me up and running very quickly. EMA's FE was very helpful as well.
Now I'm contemplating getting EMA's full course, it's pricey but I suspect it will worth it.
