Can you ID the characters on these chips from a Datavue Spark?

Doing my own retro laptop teardown a while back, in order to clean and sell, I uncovered these little cartoon characters on some of the chips.

Any ideas? I looked through google for similar images, and by the chip numbers, but haven't found anything to tell me what they mean.
