Cheap light table for artwork retouching etc

Just thought to mention this since i haven't seen it discussed anywhere in this forum.
A very cheap light table: your laptop (of course provided you already have one). Just run an app like say notepad and max it to get a nice evenly lit surface for retouching films and whatnot. Works for actual camera films as well, of course.
And yes, i know the chinese make PCBs cheap. That's not the point.
