Gerber File question

Anyone esp expert in PCB design. Is there a way or software that can be used to determine what PCB software package is used to generate a gerber file? I'm having in inquiry from PCB fab asking me if i can tell them what software is used to generate the gerber i forwarded to them which in turn came from our customer. Our customer have no idea also since it was only given to them by their counterpart in US.

There might be a comment line in the gerber files.
