If i order 40 boards I expect 40 to work & not scrap 5. But still I always order at least double from the manufacturer anyway... Spirit in the UK are excellent. Expensive, but hey, not my money is it!

That's better than getting PCBs back all with broken traces there, no? It it works, use it... why waste the rest just for a little scrape.

Because the "repair" might not last.
Because those not "repaired" might have the same fault or develop it under some stress.
Because that's not what he ordered.

Jesus, chill your tits. This is a hobby board, and as OP said there are only 5 out of the 40 that are like this. You're being a bit heavy-handed.

No, because the "repair" might not last.

So, rather than acknowledge your overreaction, you repeat yourself? What a retard. Get a real job.

You're a real winner, aren't ya, champ.

If you didn't order bodged PCBs you have every right to return them. Simple as that.

If you knew anything about 'real' jobs you would know that this is simply unacceptable quality.

I'm not speaking about the broken boards. As OP said, he ordered extras so he doesn't really care about the extra boards that got bodged. As far as we know the other boards are perfectly fine and dandy, and he got an $80 credit anyways. So what's the big doulevian deal?

Well that's unfortunate since that is what this thread is about.

Actually, I thought you were a bit thick, so I thought repeating it would be beneficial for your understanding. Apparently I overestimated your mental capabilities.

That nice fellow posted kind of a death threat to me in an other thread. Unfortunately someone, maybe a moderator, deleted it.

That's not true, he merely wished you were dead.  :)

This is going really off-topic. ;D
Those bodges are unacceptable, but don't throw those boards away, you can still use then for soldering practice, or pop those traces ( some high current fun )

Just to stand up for PCBCART.  I've run hundreds of boards through them over the last six or seven years, and if there was ever a questionable board - it was thrown in as a freebie above and beyond the ordered quantity.
Their product has been fantastic in all my and colleagues projects - and helpful too if we made a mistake in the materials sent over.   Just 2c worth
Don't ask a question if you aren't willing to listen to the answer.
