JLCPCB rejecting drill file / Circuitmaker 2000
« on: October 18, 2020, 02:52:41 pm »
Hello !

They wrote:

"The problem is that there is no holes diameter in the drill file"

But yesterday I sent them files generated as always - from old good Circuitmaker 2000.
Earlier, in january 2020 they produced my PCBs well using the same method.

Is anybody here on the forum able to see my drill files and judge if there's a problem or not ?

Maybe they are expecting a more conventional single drill file with embedded tool sizes - your .drl file appears to be some wierd binary format, the .TOL file appears to be the sizes, seperate from the .txt file, which appears to be the actual drill data, but with no size data

But earlier, in january 2020, they accepted similar drilling files and produced good PCBs for me (another project).
I think I'll edit this file by myself by filling the proper values.

In old Gerber files RS274D the sizes were kept in a separate aperture file.
In RS274X they are embedded in the main file.
JLCPCB require the second type.
