As for the title it has been just announced on the mailing list that the CERN group (along with some help from the core developer) have developed integration for the ngspice simulator in kicad, here is a video that demonstrates the features that are implemented right now:

Wow nice! I will try to build it over the weekend.

However, that user interface for the probe and tune tools are really Kicad-ish - ass-backwards! Select a button in one window so that you can then click with it in another (schematic) window, instead of having the tools there on a specialized toolbar  |O

Yeah i am quite on the fence there, onone hand i suspect that in dual screen setups this could work quite well, and also on big High res (4K-ish) screenshot where you use both the windows side by side, on the other hand for peoples like me with a normal  20" HD display could be quite annoying i think and i suspect  there are a lot of peoples in my conditions...

Anyway seen that this features is stil in developement i guess that now is the time to speak up so that the developers will fix the issue before it ends in a release the public will see (and then it will be notably more difficult to change)
