Where is LTSPICE? It has the most-awful (yep, made that one up) GUI, it is literally THE OPPOSITE of all common sense of all GUIs, but hey, for some reason I use it.

Ctrl-F "ltspice" will never find "LTpsiceIV"...  Eyescan recommended indeed :-)

I have found ltspice invaluable for testing circuits without having to build one.
Used it for a few years now.
Some parts are complicated but so is electronics.

Eagle is cumbersome and highly overrated. It's free and probably fine for hobbyists.
