pspice in orcad 17.0
« on: June 04, 2016, 07:34:30 am »
hi i have just started simulating with orcad 17.0 using in built pspice but i am trying to simulate the circuit attached which is a simple power source and regulator i have tried using dc sweep sweeping the dc power source and measuring the output of the regulator which gave me what i expected but if i try to do a transient analysis(time domain) sweep of the same source it seems to loop doing a transient analysis then does a bias point calculation and then shows that it had completed it but then starts again at the end i get a warning (orprobe-3191) and then the sweeps fill the black screen i have attached also the pspice output file if someone could help i would be greatful

I'm interested to know our, as latest OrCAD versions changed many things. I hate proprietary software, but I want to know how to use them at least.
