Request to new LEVEL1 TOPIC==> SPICE

Wondering why  there is no LEVEL1 TOPIC for dedicated SPICE ?

which can and should contain variants... LTSPICE etc...

Why nobody setup a dedicated SPICE TOPIC yet... ?

IMHO there aren't enough SPICE related topics (other than when simulations of specific circuits crop up in other topics) to justify a top-level SPICE forum, and certainly not to justify subforums within it.  You might as well add a top level Photography forum because users frequently attach photos to their posts! 

OTOH a second level SPICE and other circuit simulation, (not MCU/MPU simulation) forum under EDA would be a useful addition.

I mean first level under EDA. Not top level.

SPICE per si contains several variants and extense topics ...

Example: How do you model your tranformer...

A SPICE TOPIC UNDER EDA...

But I was wondering that as of today wide spread variants...

There are indeed some issues that can be enlisted in
a full  HEADER TOPIC (LEVEL-0)...

in this case I would call it "SIMULATION"  and let SPICE
as a subtopic branch..

Fast thinking..:

- MODELS
- PSPICE
- ISIS
- LTSPICE
- MicroCAP
- Convergence
- contributed templates and models..

etc etc etc...  for other simulators and GUIs..

We do have a full list of interesting branches...

Wondering why not implemented already
and sparse topics would be moved as needed or spotted

I'm attempting to use Micro-Cap SPICE and thought I would check hear to see if anyone had started a dedicated thread for it.   Using the search, it doesn't appear there is one. 

I wonder if the topic would be even less popular than cooking.

I think that's why they proposed to have various subsections.
