RS components API

Hi all,
Does anyone know how if RS components has some sort of API that allows you to retrieve component information based on for instance the part number? I'm writing a simple BOM parser which automatically completes my BOM with pricing information, datasheet and availability based on the part number. Farnell for instance has a nice API for this (https://partner.element14.com/docs/Product_Search_API_REST__Description) but RS seems to be lacking one and their helpdesk is unresponsive.

Today I had the same questions as you.
Did you find the answer?
I assume it is no, as I didn't find API info on the RS Components website.

may be you could use the octopart API, that can read in the RS inventory ?
