Silscreen and Writing Ink?

What can I use that would be permanent for silkscreen?  I need to write on the silk screen, but when I cast my parts in resin, what I've written on the silkscreen becomes smudged and unreadable as the resin dries.  It's just ClearCast clear resin. 2 part mix 1:1.

I've tried an ink pen, and also a Sharpie.   Anyone have experience with this?

There's probably the right "paint" for that but here's some ideas anyway... don't know if it would interfere negatively with the resin.

Put a small normal paper sticker and write with a normal pen/pencil.

Print it in a sticker, probably works best with a laser (toner) printer.

Write on the PCB but protect the writing with a bit of glueing tape or varnish.

It may also be the case that you don't give it enough time for the ink to fully dry.

You can get high temperature inks for lead glass work. Baking it onto the PCB may give You a stable solution.
Alternatively You can get touchup soldermask in a dispenser.
It cures in sunlight.
And yet another option is ident ink ( epoxy ink ) store it in an an airtight jar in a fridge and use as needed.  Cure under sunlight ( UV ).

If the solder mask isnt super glossy... pencil?

this is for writing on silk screen, not soldermask. the silk screen is over the soldermask i think.

i'll need to find something.  it would be cool if the pcb manufacture could just print that particular silkscreen in sequential numbers on the boards.

There is a product used to paint on glass. A vitreous paint of sorts.

If memory serves it needs to be cured under some heat.
