Smoke Chamber

Hi,

I'm in the process of designing an optical smoke alarm. I've been looking at the RE46C191 from Microchip which seems to be well suited. My concern is where to source the optical smoke chamber from.

Does anyone have any experience with this or know how it's usually made?

I have found some on Ali but nothing on any EU/US sites.

Any info on building a optical smoke detector is appreciated!

buy a 11 $ one from home depot .. works for 10 years.
