Stupid questin re: Crystal Layout...

"put the crystal as close as possible to the oscillator pins... yada yada..."

I'm curious: If your microcontroller uses a 32kHz crystal and an internal PLL instead of a xxMHz crystal, does the PCB layout for the crystal become less critical due to lower frequency and lower emissions concerns?  Or does the signal level decrease because of the "low power" oscillator mean that it stays about the same?

It's just as susceptible because the impedance is very high (~100kohms).
