Viewer for old Protel '98 Schematic .sch?
« on: November 17, 2015, 04:06:25 pm »
I've just been asked to redo an old project, customer information is as scant as ever and the previous designer is long since retired.  They gave me their old files, none of which are much use to me except what I think are some relay wiring drawings done in either protel 98 or 99. I don't need to copy or modify them, just look at them as they might contain some gold information.

Anyone know of a free viewer for these old protel .sch ?
I tried Altium Designer Viewer but that refuses to do anything remotely resembling being useful.
A google search throws up some options but Im wary of downloading random crap.

I think you need the importer for Altium...

Any one of us with Altium could probably save as (modern Altium 10+ .SchDoc etc.) or export a PDF, if you like?
