What CAD package creates SCH/HDF files?
« on: November 02, 2023, 07:13:41 pm »
I've found a schematic I'm trying to open that someone posted a good few years ago. There is no mention of the CAD package used so struggling to find something to open it.

Tried Eagle and KiCad - no luck.

Schematic file is here:
I've looked through the content but can't find anything to identify the software used.

Code: [Select]
*P CAP
4 60 00206537
-2900, -2050, 13635, 9643, 50;
*R PET3008
*S2114
600 800
1,5,150,50,450,50,450,750,150,750,150,50;
0,2,

Any tips would be appreciated.

Maybe a gif of the schematic might give some clues?

The GIF looks like it is from a very old package. Like 80's or 90's.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

No luck - tried PCAD as well.

At this rate I must just recreated the schematic from scratch.

That site claims the schematic was reverse engineered by Ruud Baltissen. You can try contacting him for more info. The link below pops up quickly after a general search and the site is about C64 stuff, so it may be the right person.
