What program to get component art models?

(1/1)

nsled:
Hello I'm looking for a program that has nice models of components, that can give better representation in schematics.

Something like https://youtu.be/uVuAY4BiPkY?t=215 but maybe better?

ataradov:
The diagram in that video is directly from Autodesk Tinkercad. So, that's one option.

Doctorandus_P:
That is not a "better representation".

I see a black dot with an "N" on it, but I have no idea what it is, or what those three connections mean, and it is a pretty useless drawing. sure, if you already have the parts and know what they are, you can copy the circuit with such a drawing, but that still does not help in understanding what it does or how it works.

Schematic drawings of electronic circuits have evolved over  (probably more then) 100 years, and they put a lot of information into a standardized format, and this works very well. Learn the abstract symbols and how to use them. This will be mandatory anyway if you want to build anything but the simplest circuits.

Correction, its not a "better representation" for you. It is for anyone who hasn't followed electrical schematics before nor chooses to pursue learning them. Although still want an understanding of one specific instance.

RedLion:
To be honest that looks like MS paint. ://www.tinkercad.com/circuits]https://www.tinkercad.com/circuits[/url]

TinkerCad, as mentioned by ataradov, is a good program for these types of realistic models.
Fritzing is also very popular and open source, for bonus points.

That's what I tell the sales managers, program directors and the rest of the cororate dead weight too, alas without result so far.
