Homo Electric  I can't stop  laughing over that name   Yep their  DC  motor  is   "Homo Electric "  all right , total  wankery

I tried  doing perpendicular   motion  when I was  about 13, by connecting a DC  motor  shaft  to another  DC  motor  shaft and  connecting the  voltage of the  2nd one to the  first to see if it   would  self  maintain motion . It  doesn't  freak'in  work due  to friction loss  ! You  don't need a  electrical engineering  degree  to realize that fact  !

They don't need to overcome friction or the laws of physics just obey the rules of kickstarter and cross their fingers
that no one in the kickstarter team, knows how to use the google search engine.

I guess the homo-electric Kickstarter are using illegally "Storms in Africa" from Enya:

It is heavily butchered, only a short sample repeating again and again, but I wrote a message to her Twitter account, in case he didn't buy a license for it, which I highly doubt.

Wankery and perpendicular motion.  What a stroke of genius.

Kickstarter has to clamp down on this kind of crap, because it detracts from the legitimate projects.

Being a good marketer is one thing - we want to see that.  Being an outright liar and scammer is another matter!

BTW, this is the home-electric demonstration video:

You can actually see the cables from inside the house at the right side, which they tried to hide with paint or video editing.

I recognized the music as well, and I hope the YT copyrights bots don't hit Dave for that.

It's official, they don't care about the laws of physics

Oh, I think they do care - but only as much as they understand, which is probably not much more than "If I drop my phone it could break and then I won't be able to get to Facebook/Twitter/Instagram".

I would like to use the term "muppet" - but I think Kermit, Miss Piggy and even Animal are better rounded in their general knowledge.

The bottom line is, even the people at Kickstarter don't understand the significance of what you're saying.

I reported this, too, citing the Wikipedia article, and even explaining that you can see the mains cables from inside the house in the demonstration video, but got the same answer. This is ridiculous, they really need an engineer for reviewing such physical campaigns.

It could just be that they've hired people who've gone through university humanities courses and been taught that science, reason, logic et al were created by the 'White Man' to oppress and should therefore be replaced with 'other ways of knowing' which generally boils down to 'If it feels right, it is right.'

Sadly that's not a joke.

Isn't that the same type that Thunderf00t made a video about once?

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Here is King Crocoduck's take of this.

It's annoying to be considered a scam when a scientific journal approves...

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/362241719_Free_Energy_is_a_Self-fulfilling_Proposition_if_a_Specific_Set_of_Conditions_are_Met

ResearchGate seems to approve of this journal, the IJSER, since they have a time-honored slot for its recognition on their website.

Doesn't make it any less of a predatory journal: https://beallslist.net/standalone-journals/

It seems anyone can get a paper published there, so long as they pay the fee.

Thank you for that insight.

What would constitute a filtration mechanism to prevent the ease of publication?

I need to educate myself more in free energy science because that article is complete gibberish to me

Well actual peer review would be a bare minimum surely.  Predatory publishers will host any article, regardless of its source of validity, for a fee.  Half the articles from that publisher read like AI generated word salad.  Whilst that doesn't necessarily mean any article they have is fake/AI generated/laughable, it doesn't add any kind of credibility to it - if anything it harms it because if a paper has any kind of legitimacy, it would surely be accepted by a more credible publisher - if it hasn't then it ends up there.

edit:typos.
