Hi everyone,
We’re excited to announce the release of our latest board, the
ArmSoM-CM5. This module is designed to be electrically and mechanically compatible with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4), making it an ideal choice for those looking for a more powerful alternative.
Key Features:- Rockchip RK3576 SoC: At the heart of the ArmSoM-CM5 is the Rockchip RK3576, featuring a 6 TOPS AI accelerator embedded in the SoC.
- High Performance Memory & Storage: The module offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 128GB of eMMC storage.
- Wireless Connectivity: It comes equipped with a WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 module.
- Power Management: A dedicated PMIC is included for efficient power management.
- Compatibility: The module features two 100-pin connectors that are mostly pin-compatible with the Raspberry Pi CM4.
Additionally, we’re providing a
CM5-IO carrier board to unlock extra USB 3.0 and PCIe interfaces. For those who already have the official Raspberry Pi CM4 IO board, rest assured that we’ve successfully tested our module with it.
Open Source Resources:To support your development, we will be providing the following files:
- Carrier board schematic source files
- Carrier board PCB source files
- Carrier board and core board schematic PDFs
- Chip datasheets
- Core board 2D CAD files
