Anlogic TD IDE license generation
« on: November 05, 2021, 06:47:17 am »
Good morning (o;

Registered at Anlogic website to download latest TD IDE for Linux..installs fine and also runs fine with the license from Sipeed site, which is only valid to March 2022.

So....has someone has a clue what to enter exactly on Anlogics website as MAC address for generating a TD IDE license?

http://www.anlogic.com/down_view.aspx?TypeId=23&Id=479&Fid=t14:23:14

Only response I get is a Javascript alert box saying "unkwon".

I use Chrome browser for converting chinese into english on the fly...

The MAC address is a unique ID (a hex number) for each network card, either LAN or WiFi.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address

Search for how to "find my MAC address" and follow the instructions for how to find that for your operating system.

I know what a MAC address is ...configured many Cisco and Juniper devices in the past (o;
No the problem is that regardless in which format I enter the MAC address, the site respsonds with the Javascript alert box....

No format is accepted...either as plain hex number or with ":" or "-" as Lattice requires....

Sorry.  Then you may want to write to them, or try another browser, or maybe search for a generic license number in more obscure places of the Internet (other FPGA vendors usually accept other licensing numbers that are not tied to any hardware ID, chances are these guys do the same)
