Detection of damaged pins of FPGA - CYCLONE V - 5CSEBA2U23I7SN
(1/1)
ieeeHuseyin:
I think some pins of the FPGA on the PCB are damaged.
I could not detect the problem on the PCB.
I separated the FPGA from the pcb.
Is there any test I can do to find damaged pins of the FPGA (e.g. with a multimeter)? (cycloneV.jpg)
NiHaoMike:
You could measure the ESD diodes, a damaged one will read higher or lower than the rest. You can also check for leakage, a damaged gate will tend to show substantially more than usual.
