[SOLVED] EPM240 and boundary scan
« on: December 29, 2024, 07:00:36 pm »
Hello Everybody,

I discover the world of CPLD with EPM240 Evalboard and i love that :) But im blocking when i try to use JTAG with Quartus..
I want to read the state of IO with quartus and boundary scan but even though I set pin 37 to GND or '1', i have the same result: "000..0040555"(see image)... Do you have an idea to help me please ?

In the future, i would like to read the state of I/O of EPM240 with Arduino and JTAG boundary scan. Do you think it's possible ?

Thanks for your help,
Max

Hello,

Little Update:

i couldn't do JTAG with Quartus chain Jtag debugger...
But with a little FTDI "CJMCU-232R" and python script i'm able to boundary scan :)

$ python finalcommente.py
Result of Boundary Scan: 240: 00100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001001 10100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001001 00100100 10010010 01001011 00100100 10010110 01001001
