Interfacing ADXL335 accelerometer with ZCU104

Hello Everyone. I am a newbie in the embedded system/soc.   my advisor want me to work on ZCU104. presently having a task to interface adxl335 accelerometer sensor with the pmod. Firstly, i try to create a block design using SPI on (Zynq processor and microblaze) with no result.  the sensor is an analog sensor good for quick prototyping with arduino and other analog support  microcontroller board.
What is best way to approach the usage of analog sensor on MPSOC and i will appreciate if there is any book  any one can suggest or website with guide on xilinix struct and sdk programming.
