Sipeed Spartan Edge Accelerator Board and HDMI output

I was (and not only me) surprised that the Digilent Artix-7 board could do FullHD HDMI output..so I thought I give another board a go..well..basically two boards...
First one being the Spartan-7 starter kit from QMTech from Aliexpress....and then discovered that Digikey sells those Spartan Edge accelerator boards with a XC7S15, ESP32 and a mini HDMI connector...

So modified the QMTech HDMI example a little (different sysclk) et violà....getting FullHD output as well on this board :-)
Next compiling some ESPHome example to display smart home values onto my HDMI monitor (o;

The QMTech Spartan-7 board is great. I got one last month for only $29 from AliExpress. The QMTech board also has onboard 256MB (2Gbit x16) DDR3-1600 as a framebuffer to play with...

Well I see jsut one being left atm...so hurry (o;

You may have to check back at their shop site from time to time...also one month ago they didn't have a Kintex board...now there is one available...

Or go with the Sipeed Spartan accelerator board..62 pcs left @Digikey...
