I have taken that course and it is excellent.  I might just work along once again, just to reinforce what I was supposed to learn the first time.  Yes, it costs money but education has never been free.

I built up the final project including fabricating a PCB.  Breadboarding that many components was just too grim to bear.

I have also done the FPGA and VHDL Fast Track program.

Both programs are worth every penny they cost.
