Zynq board throws "pl35x_nand_cmd_function timed out" error
« on: January 01, 2021, 07:48:41 pm »
Hi everybody!
I got a nice evalboard EBAZ4205 with Zynq XC7Z010-1CLG400.
I made project according to this guides https://www.programmersought.com/article/65574959208/ , https://hhuysqt.github.io/zynq1/ .
My point was to make HW project, and then compile a PetaLinux for it. When I finally compiled it, and uploaded a Boot.bin with image.ub to sdcard, and booted a board,  I get this error - "pl35x_nand_cmd_function timed out". What should I correct to make it work? Is the problem that i compiled it on ubuntu 18.04, not 16 version?

There is a bootlog - https://pastebin.com/BNG0Nhuq .

Thanks in advice for help.

It sounds like the loader is trying to talk to a NAND controller and not finding anything. I'm not familiar with this particular board or the PetaLinux workflow though.
