Identify LCD?

Apropos Dave's latest video, I have the following LCD (?) that I cannot identify. Google has by no means been any help even though the print on the unit is very clear.

This is what's printed: LPH5050-1 Q1227111 JB-9026 650

It has 25 pins on one side, and two sets of 4 pins on the other.
What I'm looking for is a datasheet or similar to identify the pins.

Thanks (and PLEASE let me know if you have a "secret" way to identify components that is better than a random google search).

Most a likely a fully custom part, so you'll never find the info on it.

The naming convention suggests a Philips LCD. You will find a few Philips "LPH..." displays mentioned on the web. Some of them include a controller, some are just the bare liquid crystal device; all of them are poorly documented. As Dave said, most likely a custom part, so you are out of luck finding information online.
