Any suggestions for a good cheap mike?

Ampera:
Looking for a cheap microphone, maybe 40 bucks or less, a friend needs something better than their webcam microphone for remote meetings, but doesn't need anything like a fancy condenser mike or anything phantom power. It just needs to be cheap and be better than a pinhole mike. USB or for a reasonable sound card mike in.

But he was looking for a mic available in Australia.  For the US, I'd suggest you contact Chris Gammell to see what mic he supplies to Amp Hour guests in the US.  I don't know about $40, but I wouldn't think it would be too much more than that.    Or maybe someone here (Dave?) knows which one it is and how it connects to the PC.
